Mary Jane West 

"None More Precious Than She"

Mary Jane (Jane) West, 83, passed on Sept. 27, 2005 in San Diego, Calif. Born Sept. 12, 1923 
in Dayton, Ohio, Jane lived in San Diego for the past eight years. She was a resident of Big 
Bear Lake for nearly 20 years.

Jane was a loving mother to her children and a faithful supporter of her husband, James 
(Mollyhogan) West, who preceded her in death in 1997. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, 
Della Marie West, and a son, Robert (Bobby) West.

Jane is survived by her eldest son, Richard West; her youngest son, Kerry West; her daughter, 
B.J. West (a 1981 graduate of Big Bear High School); and her sister, Betty Gilles of Dayton, Ohio. 
Jane is also survived by five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A celebration of Jane's life and passing is encouraged by all. Private services at Desert Lawn, 
Calimesa.
