OBITUARY
San Diego Union; January 14, 1908

SHEARER-In this city, January 10, 1908, John A. Shearer; a native of 
Pennsylvania, aged 69 years.
	Friends and members of John H. Morgan camp, Confederate
Veterans, and Daughters of the Confederacy, are invited to attend the
funeral services at Johnson & Connell's chapel. Seventh and D streets,
at 10 o'clock a.m. today. Interment at Mt. Hope cemetery.
