San Diego Union: May 4, 1917
BOWERS-At the residence, No. 3614 Seventh street, this city, May 2,
1917, William W. Bowers, husband of Lucy H. Bowers and father of
Miss Grace Bowers and Mrs. Sidney Hill of San Diego; a native of
New York, aged 82 years, 6 months, 12 days.
	Friends and members of the Masonic order, G. A. R. and
Pioneer Society are invited to attend the funeral services at the 
Masonic Temple, fifth and Ash streets at 2 o'clock p. m. today (Friday),
under the auspices of San Diego Lodge No. 35, F. A. & M. Interment
at Masonic cemetery. Funeral arrangements in charge of Johnson-Saum
Company.
