DURAND-In this city, March 21, 1898, Mrs. Martha L. Durand, a native of
New York, aged 70.
Friends and Acquaintances are invited to attend the funeral at the parlors
of Johnson & Co., at 2 p.m. today.

Mrs. Martha L. Durand died in this city yesterday, aged 71 years. Mrs.
Durand was the sister of Capt. Hewson of Encinitas. Rev. E. A. Healey
of the First Methodist church will conduct the funeral services this afternoon.
Interment will be had in the Masonic cemetery.
