San Diego Union, March 2, 1909
EMERSON-At his late residence, No. 250 Twenty-first street. In this city, Feb. 
28, 1909, Luther G. Emerson brother of Sarah R. Emerson of San Diego and uncle 
of Mrs. John M.C. Marhie and Mrs. Frederick R. North of Los Angeles, 
California. A native of Ohio, aged 82 years.
	Friends are invited to attend the funeral services at Johnson & 
Connell’s chapel. D and Seventh streets, at 2:30 o’clock p.m. today. Rev. W.B. 
Hinson will officiate. Interment at Mt. Hope cemetery.
