June 20, 1909, at the family residence, No. 2639 Fifth street. Henry Hayler, husband of Maria I. Hayler and father of Mrs. A. V. Storm of Ames, Iowa, Rudolph, Henry and Arthur Hayler of Fort Dodge, Iowa, Emma, Robert, Charles, Florena and George Hayler of this city. A native of England, aged 72 years 1 month 16 days. Friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the residence,No. 2639 Fifth street, tomorrow (Tuesday) at 10 o'clock a.m. Rev. W.H. Thorpe will officiate. Interment at Greenwood cemetery. HAYLER-Sunday afternoon. June 20, 1909 at 3:30 o'clock Henry Hayler of San Diego passed away after a lingering illness. The deseased was born in Battle County of Sussex, England, on the 4th of May 1837. He was reared and educated in his native place and in 1853 came along to America. He first located in Lockport, N.Y. Later moved to Ann Arbor, Mich. On the 22nd of December 1859 Mr. Hayler was united in marrage. In 1904 they moved from Fort Dodge, Iowa to San Diego. There were ten children born to this union, all of whom are now living except one. Mrs. Hannah Lowery, who died four years ago. Those surviving being the widow, Mrs. Hayler; Mrs. A.V. Storm of Ames, Iowa; Emma, Robert, Charles, Florena and George Hayler of San Diego and Rudolph, Harry and Arthur of Fort Dodge, Iowa. The funeral services will be held at the residence 2639 Fifth street, Tuesday at 10 o'clock a.m. Rev. Thorpe will Conduct the services. Interment will be at Greenwood cemetery. Mr. Hayler's love for nature was enjoyed so much with the sunshine and flowers od Southern California.
