San Diego Union, October 3, 1909
MANNING-At Bird Rock Beach in this city, October 1, 1909. Phillip Manning, 
husband of Mrs. Barbara A. Manning and father of Mrs. Boyles, Mrs. Shaw, Mrs. 
McAdams and Mrs. Miller, Samuel, William and Harvey Manning; a native of 
Pennsylvania, aged 71 years.
	Friends and members of the G.A.R. are invited to attend the funeral 
services to be held at Bradley & Woolman's chapel today at 2 o'clock p.m. 
Interment at G.A.R. cemetery.
