San Diego Union, January 2, 1909
RUSHING-In this city. Dec. 31st, 1908. Anna Rushing, mother of Mrs. Frances 
Appleby of this city; a native of North Carolina; aged 63 years.
	Friends are invited to attend the funeral services at Johnson & 
Connell's chapel. D and Seventh streets tomorrow (Saturday) at 1:30 o'clock 
p.m. Rev. C.W.H. Nelson will officiate. Interment at Mt. Hope cemetery.
