Edith Alice, wife of Archie Taylor, aged 28 days, 9 months and 22 days, a native of Ohio. Friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the residence 1203 Twelfth street at 2 p.m. today. A SAD DEATH, UNTIMELY DEMISE OF MRS. EDITH ROBERTS-TAYLOR Mrs. Edith R. Taylor, wife of Archibald Taylor, died at her home, 1203 Twelfth street, last evening, as a result of childbirth. The infant, a girl, is alive, Mrs. Dr. Averill was in attendance at Mrs. Taylor’s bedside, but Mrs. Taylor sank so rapidly that Dr. Mertzmann was called in. He was unable to give relief, however. The patient died in convulsions. The death of Mrs. Taylor proved a great shock to her husband, as well as to her many friends. Mrs. Taylor, who was formerly Miss Edith A. Roberts, was born in Zanesville, O., on March 10, 1870. For several years prior to Feb. 15, 1896, she was connected with the Union business office, where her kindly manner and loveable disposition won her an unusually large circle of friends.
