Winbigler of this city, and Mrs. Bella McComb of Fort Scott, Kan., and sister of Mrs. Anna M. Beem of Ottawa, Ill., and Jacob A. Roswell of Montreal, Canada; a native of Canada, aged 83 years, 8 months, 21 days. Friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the residence, No. 1722 F street at 10 o'clock a.m., tomorrow (Tuesday). Rev. W.E. Crabtree officiating. Interment at Mt. Hope cemetery. OLD RESIDENT PASSES AWAY Mrs. Mary J. Winbigler Dies at Age of 83, Has Lived Here Since 1886 After a lingering illness, Mrs. Mary J. Winbigler passed away yesterday in her home, No. 1722 F street at the ripe old age of 83 years. Mrs. Winbigler lived in this city for over 20 years and her death is mourned by a large number of friends. She was born at Harper's Ferry, Va., April 29, 1825. While still an infant she moved with her parents to Washington, D.C., in the fall of 1833, and later the family moved by covered wagon to Columbus, Ohio, which was then considered the far west. She was married on September 22, 1842, and out of nine children only one son and daughter survive her. Dr. G.H. Winbigler of this city and Mrs. Bella McComb of Fort Scott, Kan. Deceased leves besides her two children eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Accompanied by her son, Dr. Winbigler, deceased arrived in San Diego November 12, 1886, coming with the first Coronado excursion when the first lots on Coronado Beach wewe sold. She has lived to see San Diego grow from a small hamlet to a modern city. Rev. W.E. Crabtree, pastor of the Central Christian church will officiate at the funeral services which are to be held at the residence, No. 1722 F street, tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock. Interment will be made at Mt. Hope cemetery.
