Secondly I direct that the expenses of my last illness and the cremation of my body be paid out of the first funds which shall come into the hands of the executors hereinafter named. Thirdly I give and bequeath to my nieces Mrs. Olive Downs of Meridian, Mississippi, Mrs. Cora Adams of Fremont, Nebraska, Mrs Amy L. Bryson of Mirimar, California, and Mrs. Sarah Bittman of Los Angeles, California, and Verne K. Rice of Sioux City, Iowa, and to my nephews Frank Harmon of Chadron, Nebraska, and Hiram Rice of Albion, Nebraska, each the sum of one thousand ($1000.00) dollars to be paid out of the first money coming into the hands of my executors available for that purpose. Fourthly I give and bequeath to my sister-in-law Mrs. Elmer E. Harmon and to my nephews Cassius Reynolds and Willie Reynolds of Fremont, Nebraska, and to each of my nieces and nephews not specifically mentioned therein, the sum of one dollar ($1.00) each. Fifthly. I give and devise and bequeath to Alice E. Luth/Leith? of Columbus, Nebraska, Five hundred ($500.00) Dollars. Sixthly. I give and devise and bequeath to Mrs. Clara Marsh of New Philadelphia, Ohio, two hundred ($200.00) Dollars. Seventhly I give, devise and bequeath to Levi M. Knisely of New Philadelphia, Ohio, One thousand ($1000.00) dollars to be divided among his several daughters, share and share alike. Eighthly I give devise and bequeath to Mrs Sarah Dougherty of New Philadelphia, Ohio, Two Hundred ($200.00) dollars. Ninthly. I give devise and bequeath to Mrs Amelia Wood of Tuscarawas, Ohio, Two Hundred ($200.00) dollars. Tenth. I give devise and bequeath to Clarence Knisely of Chicago, Illinois, One Thousand ($1000.00) dollars, and to Mamie C. Knisely, and to Mary L. Knisely of Chicago, Illinois, Five Hundred ($500.00) dollars each. Eleventh, I give, devise and bequeath to my nephew Clay Knisely and my niece Anna Knisely of New Philadelphia, Ohio five hundred ($500.00) dollars each. page 468 Twelfth. I give devise and bequeath to Mrs. Sarah Bittman of Los Angeles, California, One Thousand ($1000.00) dollars for the maintenance of Mrs. Elizabeth E. Clark. Thirteenth. I give, devise and bequeath all the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate, both real and personal, to my brother Lyman A. Harmon and my sister Mrs. Olive A. Stephens to be divided equally between them, share and share alike. Fourteenth. I give my executors hereinafter named, and in the event that one of them shall not qualify as such executor, then to the one who does qualify, full powers to sell any or all of my estate without an order of Court. Lastly. I hereby nominate and appoint Gus G. Beecher of Columbus, Nebraska, and E. M. Barber of San Diego, California, the executors of this my last Will and Testament and hereby revoke all former wills by me made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 17th day of October in the year of our Lord Nineteen Hundred and Two Lucretia H. Knisely The forgoing instrument consisting of two pages besides this was at the date hereof by the said Lucretia K. Knisely, signed and sealed and published as and declared to be her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who, at here request, and in her presence, and in the presence of each other, have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto. Story Deputy In the Superior Court of the County of San Diego, State of California in the matter of the estate of Certificate of Proof of Will Lucretia H. Knisely, Deceased I, E. S. Torrance, Judge of the Superior Court of the County of San Diego, do hereby certify That on the 20th day of February, A. D. 1903, the annexed instrument was admitted to probate as the last will and testament of Lucretia H. Knisely, deceased; that the testimony taken on the probate of said will has been reduced to writing and signed by the witnesses respectively, and filed herein; and from the proof taken, and the examinations had therein, the said court finds as follows: page 469 That Lucretia H. Knisely died on the 2nd day of February A. D. 1903 in the said county of San Diego, State of California, and at the time of her death was a resident of said County. That the said annexed will was duly executed by the said decedent in her life time, in the County of San Diego, State of California, in the presence of P. M. Johnson and Mrs E. C. Choate the subscribing witnesses thereto. Also that she acknowledged the execution of the same in her presence and declared the same to be her last will and testament, and the said witnesses attested the same at her request, in her presence, and in the presence of each other. That the said decedent, at the time of executing said Will as aforesaid, was of the age of eighteen years and upwards, was of sound and disposing mind, and not under restraint, undue influence, menace fraud, duress, or fraudulent misrepresentations, or in any respect incompetent to devise and bequeath her estate. In witness whereof, I have signed this certificate and caused the same to be attested by the Clerk of this Court under the seal thereof, this 20th day of February, A. D. 1903 E. S.
