Family Search Home Records 1835 - 1912 San Francisco 
Bowne--- In this city January 12, Emma Jane, dearly beloved wife of Samuel 
Bowne and mother of Harold Bowne, a native of New Jersey, aged 37 years, 10 
months and 28 days.

  * * Friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend the funeral 
services to-morrow (Sunday) at 1:30 o'clock p.m., from the chapel of H P. 
Peterson 1342 Devisadero street between  Ellis and O'Farrell streets. 
Internment, Cyprus Lawn Cemetery by automobiles.

Additional Comments:
Emma Jane Gilder was the daughter of Charles W. Gilder (also spelled Guilder) 
and Mary Smith.  Her siblings were Charles Gilder, Harry Gilder, Edward Gilder 
(died at the age of three and buried in Fairmount Cemetery with his father 
Charles W.,) Elizabeth Guilder Van Note and Clara Guilder Theurer.
