San Francisco Examiner, January 23, 1913
"DIED.  BOYSEN - In this city, January 22, Edward C. Boysen, beloved brother of 
Mrs. Baldwin Vale and Mynne and Julius Boysen, a native of San Francisco.  A 
member of Mission Lodge, No. 160, F. & A.M., Mission Chapter, No. 79, R.A.M.; 
California Commandery, No. 1, K.T.; Mission Chapter, No. 155, O.E.S.; 
California Scottish Rite Bodies; Islam Temple, A.A.O.N.M.S.; Mission Council, 
No. 1010, N.U. and the Loring Club of San Francisco.  Friends and acquaintances 
are respectfully invited to attend the funeral Saturday, January 25, at 2 
o'clock p.m. from the Mssion Masonic Temple, 2008 Mission street, between 
Twenty-second and Twenty-third streets, under the auspices of Mission Lodge, 
No. 160, F. & A.M.  Remains at the funeral parlors of Bunker & Lunt, 2686 
Mission street, near Twenty-third street."END

Note that the identical obituary was also in the San Francisco Examiner, 
Friday, January 24, 1913, page 4, column 5.

On Saturday, January 25, the same obituary appears but with the following added 
at the end: "MISSION CHAPTER, No. 155. O.E.S. - Officers and members are hereby 
notified to attend the funeral of our late brother, Edward Constantine Boysen, 
to-day (Saturday), at 2 o'clock p.m. from Mission Masonic Temple, 2668 Mission 
street. By order of the W.M." END

Additional Comments:
San Francisco Examiner (San Francisco, California). January 23, 1913 
(Thursday). Page 4, column 5.  He was the son of Julius and Engla Boysen.  
Edward never married.
