COLBY, in Berkeley, April 8 Margaret J., beloved wife of the late Captain 
William Colby and beloved mother of Mrs. Louise M. Phillips and sister of 
Hannah MacDonnell and grandmother of J. Herbert Slater, mrs. 
Marguerite Slater Messenger, Norman B. and Colby E. Slater, a native of 
Ireland, aged 78 years and 13 days. 

Sisters to Margaret, Hannah Shanahan McDonnell (McDonald) and 
Caroline Shanahan McPherson obits have been submitted as well.
