LOCHBAUM - In this city, June 26, 1911, August H. Lochbaum, Jr., dearly 
beloved husband of Emma L. Lochbaum (nee Wederfeld [sic - s/b Westerfeld]), 
and loving father of Walter and Edna Lochbaum, a native of Germany, aged 46 
years.

Friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend the funeral 
Thursday, June 29, 1911, at 10 o'clock a. m. from the mortuary chapel of the 
Golden Gate undertaking company, 2745 Mission street near Twenty-first.  
Interment Cypress Lawn cemetery by electric funeral car from corner of Twenty-
eighth and Valencia streets, at 10:30 a. m.

Additional Comments:

August was the son of August Hermann Lochbaum, Sr. and 1st wife, Catherine 
(Kuprion) Lochbaum.  He was born in May 1865 in Germany; he emigrated to San 
Francisco with his parents about 1866.

August, Jr. married Emma L. Westerfeld, daughter of Hermann Westerfeld & 
Leopoldine (Lang) Westerfeld, in San Francisco in 1866.

They were the parents of:

Walter Raymond Lochbaum
Edna H. Lochbaum

His widow, Emma, died April 11, 1914 in San Francisco.
