San Francisco Call, March 13, 1899
“DIED. PHILPOTT – In this city, March 11, 1899, Addison, dearly beloved husband 
of Ellen Philpott, and father of Henry, Daniel and Martin Philpott and the late 
Mrs. J. T. Dailey, a native of Springfield, Ill., aged 61 years. Friends and 
acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend the funeral this day (Monday), 
at 9:30 o'clock, from his late residence, 1904 McAllister street, thence to 
Holy Cross Church, Eddy street, near Scott, where a requiem high mass will be 
celebrated for the repose of his soul, commencing at 10 o'clock. Interment Holy 
Cross Cemetery.” END
