SARAH WEISTER Mrs. Sarah Weister, sister of E. H. Mercer, of 2806 West Chestnut avenue, died at her home in San Francisco, California, on Tuesday of this week. The news was contained in a telegram to Mr. Mercer yesterday morning, who was not aware that his sister was ill until news came of her death, announcing that she had been ill but four days. Mrs. Weister visited here for several months last summer and is known to many residents of this city, who were charmed with her brilliant playing of the piano. For several years Mrs. Weister was organist in one of San Francisco's leading Presbyterian churches. The funeral will occur today from Trinity Presbyterian church. She is survived by two sons, Edward and Alfred, of Danville, Cal., and three brothers, O. V. Mercer, of Saltsburg, Pa.; W. S. Mercer, of California and E. H. Mercer, of this city. Additional Comments: I am not related to this family and have no further information on them.
