Births, Marriages, Deaths

WESTERFELD -- In this city, January 14, 1910, Leopoldine Westerfeld, wife of 
Herman Westerfeld, and dearly beloved mother of Mrs. A. H. Lochbom (sic - s/b 
Lochbaum), Jr., W. H. Westerfeld, Mrs. George Prefontaine (sic s/b 
Trefontaine) and Olga S. Westerfeld. a native of Germany, aged 62 years 11 
months and 26 days ( = 19 January 1847).

Friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend the funeral 
today, Sunday, January 16, 1910, at 1 o'clock p. m., from the mortuary chapel 
of the Golden Gate undertaking company, 2475 Mission street near Twenty-
first.  Interment Cypress Lawn cemetery by electric funeral car from the 
corner of Twenty-eighth and Valencia streets at 1:30 p. m.


Additional Comments:
Leopoldine Lang married Herman Westerfeld on November 12, 1866 in Saint Louis 
Co., Missouri.  She was the mother of all of the children:

Emma L. Westerfeld, m. August H. Lochbaum, Jr.
William Herman Westerfeld
Lillian Westerfeld, m. George Trefontaine
Olga Westerfeld, m. Frank Henry
Herman B. Westerfeld

After Leopoldine's death, Herman married Mary J. Murphy in May 1910.   He died 
in San Jose, Santa Clara Co., California on March 26, 1911.
