“DAUGHTER OF MILLIONAIRE MARRIES FOOTBALL PLAYER 

LONG BEACH. Dec. 10.—The report, from San Francisco that Miss Mary Ena, a 
daughter of John Ena, the late Hawaiian millionaire, had married Ralph Jones, a 
member of this year's high school football team here, was verified today by 
relatives of Miss Ena at the family home on the beach, at the foot of Elm 
avenue. 

They said that Mrs. Ena and another daughter witnessed the ceremony, but that 
the marriage was not known to Jones’ parents who are well-to-do residents of 
Pasadena.  Mr. and Mrs. Jones’ plans for the future could not be learned.” END
