Bradford Leavitt. The ceremony was performed beneath a wedding bell of roses and hyacinths intertwined with maidenhair ferns, in front of an altar massed with flowers In popular shades of pink. The same color was introduced in the scheme of decorations throughout the house, which were effectively carried out with carnations, roses, hyacinths and lilies. The bride, who was given into the keeping of the groom by her father, wore an elaborate creation of white satin trimmed with old lace that had been in the possession of her family for 70 years. The veil of filmy tulle which enveloped her was fashioned with a Juliet cap and a shower bouquet of lilies of the valley completed the exquisite costume. Her cortege numbered a matron of honor and four bridesmaids. Mrs. August Humberg, who attended her sister as matron of honor, was gowned in pink satin heavily embroidered and richly trimmed with lace. A dull gold bandeau confined her hair and she carried a chaplet of pink bridesmaid roses. The four bridesmaids were gowned alike in frocks of pale pink satin with over dresses of white lace. Tulle bows in pink and white adorned their hair and their bouquets were of Cecil Breuner roses. They were Miss Grace Wolpert, Miss Edith Schussler, Miss Emm Duden and Miss Elsai Kaempff. A. Hennberg acted in the capacity of best man and the groomsmen were L. Koster, Caxton Rhodes, Henry Kreutzmann and Frank Reischling. After the marriage a wedding supper was served to more than 100 guests. Mr. and Mrs. Hillefeld have gone on an extended honeymoon; the terminal of which they are successfully keeping secret. On their return from their wedding journey they will make their home in this city. Mrs. Hillefeld is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Henry Kreutzmann, well-known residents of this city. She received her education both here and in the finishing schools of Europe. Hillefeld is the son of Dr. and Mrs. O. Hillefeld, who make their home in Germany.
