She was born Lydia Faszer on June 15, in Lehr, N.D. She married Theobald Aman on Oct. 23, 1927, and the couple moved to Lodi in 1939. She was a homemaker for 73 years. Mrs Aman was a member of First Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading the Bible, singing, playing the organ and cooking for her family. She is survived by her sons, Gordon Aman of Elk Grove and Gerald Aman of Rail Road Flats; daughter, Delili Pianter of Lodi; sister, Ella Liebelt of Lodi; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Theobald Aman, on Nov. 17, 1969; daughter Arlene Aman, on Feb 7, 1934; five brothers and four sisters. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Cherokee Memorial park with Pastor Ray Hoffman of First Baptist Church officiating. Visitation will be from 12 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, and from 8 to 10 a.m. Friday at Lodi Funeral Home.
