Marie Anderson
Marie Anderson, 74, of Lodi, died Sept. 29 in Lodi. She was born Dec. 11, 1930, 
in Caldwell, Idaho, and married Alvin Anderson on March 11, 1956. They lived in 
Santa Cruz until 1963, when they moved to Lodi.

Mrs. Anderson was an active member of Fairmont Seventh-day Adventist Church in 
Lodi for 42 years. She was a leader and counselor for 22 years in the Lodi 
Pathfinder youth group, served as evening marriage encounter prayer couple for 
27 years and was involved in Vacation Bible School for many years. She was also 
a leader in all Sabbath school divisions. 

Mrs. Anderson was an Avon representative for 15 years. She was a survivor of 
breast cancer and melanoma.

She is survived by her husband, Alvin Anderson of Lodi; two daughters, Shari 
Anderson of Placerville and Lynnae Anderson Webster of Lodi; three sisters, 
Miriam Ross of Calistoga, Millie Westmoreland of Calistoga and Marcia Spencer 
of Washington state; two brothers, Leroy Moore of New Mexico and Paul Moore of 
Texas; and two granddaughters.

A memorial service will be held at Fairmont Seventh-day Adventist Church. 
Inurnment will be private at Cherokee Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 
from 1 to 8 p.m. today at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home.
