Emily Angle 

Jan. 16, 1924 — Feb. 26, 2006

A cryptside service will be Wednesday for Emily Angle, 82, of Stockton, who 
died Sunday at Beverly Manor rest home in Stockton. 

Born in Tracy, Mrs. Angle attended Central Elementary School and West Park 
School. She met her husband, Earl Angle, at the Tracy Defense Depot during 
World War II. Her family owned and operated Martin Farms on Naglee Road. She 
worked as a forklift driver for H.J. Heinz Co. and later drove a school bus 
for the disabled for 10 years from Stockton to Tracy. After her husband’s 
death in 1975, she moved to the Imperial Stockton Mobile Home Park, where she 
served as the event coordinator. She loved to dance and travel. She enjoyed 
playing bridge and pinochle. 

Mrs. Angle is survived by her daughter, Donna J. Borges of Stockton; sister, 
Ollie Silva of Tracy; grandson, Robert Grappo, and his wife, Pam, of 
Roseville; and great-grandchildren, Madison and Bryson Grappo.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Angle; and children, Mark and 
Karen Angle.

Wednesday’s cryptside service will begin at 1 p.m. at Cherokee Memorial Park, 
Highway 99 and East Harney Lane, in Lodi.
