Anasisilila Reyna Anzo

April 18, 1964 — Jan. 2, 2006

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday for Stockton resident 
Anasisilila Reyna Anzo, 41, who died Monday in Stockton.

Born in Tracy, Mrs. Anzo attended elementary schools in Tracy, Lathrop and 
Manteca. She graduated from East Union High School in Manteca. She worked at 
Caltrans for 13 years. She was loved by many, and she brought much love and 
joy to her family. She gave much of her life to organizations such as United 
Way, American Cancer Society and was a founding member of Our Lady Guadalupe 
in Lathrop. She also donated blood annually.

Mrs. Anzo is survived by her husband of 24 years, George Anzo Sr. of Stockton; 
children, George Jr. and Rudy Ricardo Anzo, both of Stockton; parents, Arcelia 
Reyna and Jesus Manuel Gonzalez of Modesto; siblings, Justin Leyba, and his 
wife, Lisa, of Bakersfield, Felisardo Leyva, of Sacramento, Ricardo Leyba, and 
his wife, Maryann, of Lodi, and Particia Bowden, and her husband, Tim, of 
Galt; 19 nieces and nephews; 25 great-nieces and great-nephews; and nine 
godchildren.

Friday’s Mass will begin at 9 a.m. at Annunciation Cathedral, 425 W. Magnolia, 
in Stockton. Visitation will be observed at 6 p.m. tonight at the cathedral, 
with the recital of a rosary to follow at 7 p.m.
