Laura Adame 
Laura Ann Adame, 59, of Lodi, died June 4. She was born June 26, 1945, in 
Oakland.

Mrs. Adame was raised in Hayward, where she graduated from Hayward High School 
in 1962. She enjoyed music, dancing and especially spending time with her 
husband, children and grandchildren. 

She is survived by her husband of 13 years, Jesus Adame; daughters, Lisa Marie 
Castillo, of Hayward, Tina Castillo, of Lodi, Angelica Gonzalez, of Sacramento, 
and Elena Chavez, of Lodi; son, Chulo Adame, of Lodi; sister, Kathleen 
Baptista, of Danville; father, Arthur Baptista, of Hayward; seven grandchildren 
and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Baptista; and mother, Florence 
Baptista.

A vigil will be held at 7 p.m. today at Machado's Hillside Chapel, 1051 Harder 
Road, Hayward. A procession will leave the mortuary at 9:45 a.m. Thursday for 
the committal at 10 a.m. at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward.

Machado's Hillside Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
