Adams January 3, 1915 - March 22, 2005 Lucille E. Adams, 90, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2005 at a local care facility. She was born January 3, 1915 in Fresno, California to Bernard and Kathleen Lynch Newman. She graduated from Fresno High School and attended Fresno State. In 1935, she married Robert S. Adams Jr. and moved to Lakeview, Oregon where they raised their three children. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church. She enjoyed gardening, bridge and riding her horse with the Lakeview Saddle Club. Lucille lived in Lakeview for fifty-seven years. She and Mr. Adams retired to Wickenburg, Arizona where she continued horseback riding. Mr. Adams preceded her in death in May 1978. She is survived by her son, Robert Adams III and wife Peggy of Columbia, Missouri; daughters, Judith Cossey and husband Robert Cossey of Stockton and Kerry Demers and husband Richard of Tucson, Arizona; grandchildren, Steve Cossey of Grover Beach, California, Kerry Wells of Danville, California, Geoff Demers of Tucson, Arizona, Megan Demers- Gegwich of North Bend, Washington, Mike Adams of Roseburg, Oregon, Chris Adams of Corvallis, Oregon, Barry Adams of Roseburg, Oregon, Ryan Adams of Redding, California and nine great-grandchildren. Lucille's good company, empathy, wit and overall love and support will be missed by all her friends and family. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at the DeYoung Shoreline Chapel, 7676 Shoreline Dr., Stockton, CA Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be at the Shoreline Chapel, Monday, March 28, 2005, 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Tuesday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to Hospice of San Joaquin, 3888 N.
