Marion Adkins 
Marion Alonzo Adkins, 63, of Lodi, died June 5 in his home. He was born Jan. 
12, 1942, in Hugo, Okla.

Mr. Adkins served in the U.S. Army and then was an assembly man for General 
Motors for 30 years. 

He is survived by his son, Kelly Adkins, of Tennessee; sisters, Louise Owens 
and LaVern Scott, both of Oakland, D'Ouita Bostic and Bobbie Jean Guess, both 
of Oklahoma; brothers, Charles Ray Adkins, of Oakland, and Julius Ardell 
Adkins, of Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Bee Adkins.

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the Evergreen Chapel at Cherokee 
Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at 
Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home.

Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
