Kathryn Alley 
Kathryn B. Alley, 89, of Acampo, died May 21 in Lodi following a battle with 
Alzheimer's Disease. She was born Kathryn B. Hanf on Aug. 8, 1915, in 
Menominee, Mich.

Mrs. Alley lived in Michigan, Wisconsin, San Francisco and San Bruno before 
settling in Acampo two years ago. She was a member of the Eastern Star in 1944, 
and the Eastern Star Grand Ward in 1980, where she was a Worthy Matron twice 
and a courtesy chairman to dignitaries. 

She enjoyed reading good books, gardening and traveling. She enjoyed life, and 
spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Vernon Alley, of Acampo, daughters, 
Susan Ross, of Acampo and Rochelle Logan, of Colorado; son, Brian Alley, of San 
Mateo; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. June 4 at St. John's United Church, 
480 San Anselm Ave., San Bruno, with Pastor Champ Taylor officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Aid 
Society of Northern California, 105 S. Washington St., Lodi, CA 95240; or to a 
charity of the donor's choice.

Neptune Society is in charge of arrangements.
