Patricia Arrants 
Patricia Anne Arrants, 68, of Galt, died June 12 at her home in Galt following 
a lengthy illness. She was born Patricia Anne Thalman on Aug. 7, 1936, in 
Gallup, N.M.

Mrs. Arrants lived in Galt for 40 years, where she worked for the City of Galt 
for 23 years until her retirement. She was a member of the United Methodist 
Church of Galt, and was also a member of the Lodi Arts Center. She enjoyed 
plain air painting. 

She is survived by her husband, Earl S. Arrants, of Galt; sons, William Frey, 
of North Carolina, and Jon Frey, of Concord; and sister, Carolyn Modeen, of 
Arizona.

A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. today at the United Methodist 
Church of Galt. Committal will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lodi Arts Center, 
the Hospice of San Joaquin, or the United Methodist Church of Galt.

Ben Salas Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
