Caroline Arrants 
Caroline Elizabeth Arrants, 89, of Galt, died June 14 following a sudden 
illness. She was born Caroline Elizabeth Hansen on Sept. 14, 1915, in 
Bennington, Neb.

Mrs. Arrants lived in Baldwin Park before settling in Galt in 1957. 

She was a homemaker and was a member of Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church 
in Galt. She enjoyed bowling, and gardening, especially flowers.





Caroline Arrants
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Leroy, of Galt; sons, Ron, of 
Benecia and Dennis, of Bellevue, Wash.; daughter, Carolyn, of Galt; brothers, 
Leroy, Harlan, Delbert, Gordon and Robert; sisters, Mildreth and Rose Marie; 
and four grandchildren.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran 
Church. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at Ben Salas 
Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shepherd of the 
Valley Lutheran Church, the American Heart Association or a charity of the 
donor's choice.

Ben Salas Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
