He was 91. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII with the 1st. Filipino Infantry Co. "D" from 1942-1946. He worked at Rohnert Seed Co. in Hollister, CA and Ferry Morse Seed Co. in Mountain View, CA where he retired after 20 years as a mill operator. He was a member of the American Legion for 50 years and belonged to the Laoaguenians of Monterey Co. He was an avid gardener his entire life and took pride in his lawn and roses as well as his flower and vegetable gardens. He loved to play cards, especially in Lake Tahoe and Reno. He is preceded in death by his mother, Maria; brothers, Justo, Palikencio, Anastacio; sisters, Juana, Maura and Luisa. He leaves to mourn his wife, Teresita; sister, Josepa of the Philippines; daughters, Mary Ann (John) Battaglia of Hollister, Sharon (Peter) Crase, Diane (Armand) Espinoza of Stockton; sons, Carlos (Weng) Ordonez of the Philippines and Don Calomarde of Stockton; grandchildren, Jennifer, Erica, Justin, Tracee, Matthew, Armand, Jr. (Tooters), Scott, Dylan and Daryl and one great-grandson, Eric. Also numerous nieces and nephews in California, Hawaii and the Philippines. Family and friends are invited to attend a Rosary Service at DeYoung Shoreline Chapel, 7676 Shoreline Dr., Stockton on Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of Presentation, 1515 W. Benjamin Holt Dr., Stockton on Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be held at DeYoung Shoreline Chapel on Monday, April 11 and Tuesday, April 12, Noon - 7:00 p.m. Committal will be at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery.
