Gerda Bacchetti 

May 21, 1917 — March 19, 2006

A prayer service will be Tuesday for longtime Tracy resident Gerda Bacchetti, 
88, who died March 19, 2006 at Tracy Convalescent Hospital.

Mrs. Bacchetti was born in Germany and lived 50 years in Tracy. She was a 
member of the Herman & Sons Fraternal Order Stockton Lodge. She was a gifted 
seamstress and a very kind person to everyone she knew. Mrs. Bacchetti loved 
animals. She was a loving wife, sister, aunt and friend.

Mrs. Bacchetti is survived by her husband of 50 years, Francis Bacchetti; 
siblings, Erika Kuga of Stockton; and niece, Rebecca Kuga of Sonoma.

Tuesday’s services will begin at 7 p.m. at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central 
Ave. Visitation will be observed from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel. 
Interment will be private.

Contributions in Mrs. Bacchetti’s name may be sent to the Delta Humane Society 
& S.P.C.A., 4590 S. Highway 99 Frontage Road, Stockton 95215.
