Josephine Barham
Josephine Elizabeth Barham, 89, of Lodi, died Oct. 11 in Lodi. She was born 
Josephine Elizabeth Piciotto on Feb. 12, 1916, in Oakland.

Mrs. Barham resided most of her life in Oakland and Berkeley. She married Elden 
R. Barham on Oct. 11, 1936, in Oakland. She enjoyed cooking, and especially 
enjoyed spending time with her family and doing things for them. 

She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Ghinassi, of Loomis and Joan Ory, of 
Herald; sister, Grace Patterson, of San Francisco; five grandchildren and seven 
great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elden Raymond Barham in 1983; three 
brothers and one sister.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in 
Hayward with Deacon Leonard Bettencourt of St. John's Catholic Church in San 
Lorenzo officiating. Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday.
