Magdalena Bechtold
Magdalena Bechtold, 87, of Lodi, died Sept. 23 in a Stockton convalescent 
hospital. She was born Sept. 9, 1918, in Artis, S.D., and moved to Lodi in 1940.

Mrs. Bechtold worked at the Del Monte plant 33 from 1947 to 1967, was a 
beautician for the next nine years and was a member of Temple Baptist Church 
since 1948. 

She is survived by Norman Bechtold, of Lodi, Jill Nastasia, of Thornton, Brian 
Bechtold, of Oregon, and Vernon Bechtold, of Rancho Cordova; seven 
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by August Bechtold in 1976.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cherokee Memorial Park 
with Pastor Gene Napier of Temple Baptist Church officiating. Committal will 
follow.
