Joe was born in Coos Bay, Oregon on October 9, 1933 and spent most of his adult life in the San Francisco Bay Area. Joe will be greatly missed by children, Debbie and Ron Zalunardo; grandchildren, Ron Jr. and Kristi Zalunardo, Erica and Ron Fasano, Chris Zalunardo and numerous great-grand- children. Son of the late Mary Lapp and Buel J. Baker, he is additionally survived by brother, David Baker; sister, Dolores Dwelly and his children, Merry, Patti, Joe Jr., Ron, Michael and eight grandchildren. After serving his country in the Air Force, stationed primarily in Greenland, most of Joe's working career was in the lumber industry. A talented builder, Joe and Lil, over the course of their 32 years of marriage, designed and built three new homes in the Califonria foothills. In addition to his love for Lil, Joe's passions included the outdoors, touring the Western United States in their motor home and his devotion to the San Francisco 49ers and Giants. He also enjoyed fine dining and excellent wine. Joe was a personable, well-liked man and will be remembered as the true gentleman that he was. Family visitation will be Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at 4:00 p.m. and a Memorial Services for friends and family will be Wednesday, March 8 at 11:00 a.m., both at Lodi Funeral Home, 725 S.
