Lawrence Barsi 
May 3, 1906 - April 8, 2005



Lawrence Barsi, age 98, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2005. Mr. Barsi was 
raised in Stockton and graduated from Stockton schools. He had worked as a mill 
man and retired after 53 years of service. He as a member of the Carpenters 
Union, Local #25. Lawrence was the oldest Alumni of August School.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Louie Barsi; his son, Lawrence Ronald 
Barsi; his daughter, Laverne Atkins and a son-in-law, Warren Atkins. Mr. Barsi 
is survived by his wife, Gertrude Barsi of Stockton; 7 grandchildren, Mike 
Atkins, Jerry Atkins, Laurie Carter, Alan Barsi, Roxanne Parker, Steve DaValle 
and Paula Croce; also survived by daughter-in-law, Norma Barsi.
Chapel Service on Wednesday, April 13, 10:00 a.m. at Wallace-Martin Funeral 
Home, 520 N. Sutter St. Visitation is Tuesday, April 12, from 10:00 a.m. to 
7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Committal will be held at Park View Cemetery, 
Manteca, CA.
