Bauer Ella C. Bauer, 79, of Lodi passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2005 in Lodi, CA. She was born on October 24, 1925 to the late Gottlieb and Christina Schaible in Hillview, South Dakota. Ella resided in Lodi for 52 years and worked 17 years for Lakewood Drugs. Ella and her husband Argo celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary last November. She lived for times spent with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed people and loved to be around babies. Ella and Argo spent many happy times camping with family and with their two camping clubs, the Assorted Nuts and Lodi Trailer Club. She was an active member of the Dakota Club and St. Paul Lutheran Church. She is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Argo Bauer of Lodi; children, LaLonnie Wolfe and husband Dennis of Stockton, Mark Bauer and wife Suzanne of Concord, Lori Kinlaw and husband Dudley of Manteca; grandchildren, Janell and Kelsey Bauer, Jaimie and Rebecca Kinlaw, and Aric Bauer; siblings, Lavina Heer of San Luis Obispo, Darlou Ernst of Carmichael. She is preceded in death by her son, Gary Bauer, and grandson, Matthew Bauer. Friends and family are invited for visitation on Wednesday, August 31, 2005 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Gierhart-Wells & Donahue Funeral Home, 123 No. School St., Lodi, CA and to graveside services on Thursday, September 1, 2005 at 9:30 a.m. at Lodi Memorial Cemetery 5750 E. Pine St. Lodi, CA followed by a Memorial service at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 701 S. Pleasant Ave., Lodi at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Russ Creydt officiating.
