Janet Brown 
Janet Sue Brown, 37, of Galt, died May 3 in a local hospital of natural causes. 
She was born Janet Sue Smith on July 25, 1967, in Downy.

Mrs. Brown was a resident of Galt since 1996. She enjoyed spending time with 
her children. 

She is survived by her husband, Randy Brown, of Galt; sons, Brandon Carpenter 
and Robert Brown, both of Galt; daughter, Stefanie Carpenter, of Galt; 
stepsons, Richard Brown and Ryan Brown, both of Galt, and Rodney Brown, of 
Sacramento; brother, Sean Smith, of San Jose; parents, Glenda and Dennis Smith, 
of Acampo; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Ben Salas Funeral Home. 
There will be no visitation.

Ben Salas Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
