Mary Brown
Mary Ann Brown nee Peters, 91, of Lodi, died May 5 of natural causes. She was 
born June 16, 1913, near Anselmo in Nebraska.

Mrs. Brown graduated from high school in 1932 in Antigo, Wis., and then 
graduated from Lighthouse of International Foursquare Evangelism Bible College 
in Los Angeles in 1937. She and her husband served as pastors and on staff at 
several churches in Stockton, Lodi, Galt and Sacramento. They also helped to 
found churches in Billings, Mont., and Colorado Springs, Colo. 

She is survived by her sons, Daniel D. Brown, of Maui, Hawaii, Paul S. Brown, 
of Rocklin, and Jonathan J. Brown, of Littleton, Colo.; daughters, Elizabeth F. 
McCarthy, of Elk Grove, and Mary A. Sanchez, of North Sacramento; sisters, 
Virginia Sapp, of Yuba City, and Lena Brown, of Sacramento; 10 grandchildren 
and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David A. Brown in 1994.

A praise and celebration service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, with a 
regular service at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Woodbridge Community Church, 19350 
N. Lower Sacramento Road, Woodbridge. Interment will be held at Lodi Memorial 
Cemetery, 5750 E. Pine St., Lodi. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 
p.m. Wednesday at the Ben Salas Funeral Home, 149 4th Street, Galt.

Ben Salas Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
