Kalson Buchmann 
Kalson Buchmann, 63, of Lockeford, died May 12 at Mathers VA, of complications 
of a stroke caused by lung cancer. He was born Oct. 19, 1941, in Hazen, N.D.

Mr. Buchmann served in the military for five years. He was a resident of 
Lockeford for a year. He worked as a truck driver and enjoyed making cedar slab 
bird houses. 

He is survived by his daughter, Tara Syrack, of Lockeford; brothers, Dillen 
Buchmann, of Baldwin, N.D., Iver Buchmann, of Grand Forks, N.D., and Merlin 
Buchmann, of Jamestown, N.D.; sister, Sherrie De Pew, of Battlecreek, Mich.; 
and two grandchildren.

Committal will be private at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery.

Ben Salas Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
