Lorena E. Butler 
Lorena E. Butler, 91, of Turlock and formerly of Lodi, died June 17 in 
Sacramento of a heart attack and stroke. She was born Lorena E. Gross on Oct. 
3, 1913, in Lodi.

Mrs. Butler was a resident of the Lodi area for 29 years, and Santa Clara for 
54 years before relocating to Turlock a year ago. She worked in daycare. 

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Garza, of Turlock; sons, Richard Butler, 
of San Jose, and Robert Butler, of Sacramento; seven grandchildren and five 
great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service was held on June 24 at Elk Grove Cemetery.
