Frank Calvo Jr.

Aug. 13, 1931 — Oct. 23, 2005 

Services will be Friday for mechanic Frank Calvo Jr., 74, who died Sunday at 
his Tracy home.

Born in Hollister, Mr. Calvo lived in Fremont 20 years before moving to Tracy 
18 years ago. He enjoyed automobiles and took pride in being the first one 
asked to do a handyman project in Tracy. He was a very loving husband, father, 
grandfather and great-grandfather.

Mr. Calvo is survived by his wife of 50 years, J. Claire Calvo , of Tracy; 
mother, Erminia Calvo of Desert Hot Springs; children, Frank Calvo III, and 
his wife, Nancy, Kathryn Ann Rose, and her fiancé, Tony Bruno, all of Fremont, 
David Calvo, and his wife, Judy, of Santa Clara, and Christine Marie Bouyea, 
and her husband, Steven, of Hayward; sister, Josephine Pacheco, and her 
husband, Ronald, of Desert Hot Springs; 14 grandchildren; and one great-
grandchild.

Friday’s prayer service will begin at 11:30 a.m. at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 
S. Central Ave. Visitation will be observed from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the 
chapel, followed immediately by the recital of a rosary. 

Interment will be private.
