Elizabeth M. (Betty) Christensen 

Mrs. Elizabeth M. (Betty) Christensen passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2005 at 
Lodi Memorial Hospital after a six week illness. 

She was born in Port Ewen, New York on July 21, 1916 and was 89 years old. 

Other places of residence were: San Francisco, CA; Tacoma, WA; Dallas, TX, 
Desert Hot Springs, CA; Lake Havasu, AZ; and Galt, CA for the past 14 years. In 
her younger years she was a professional dancer and then a homemaker to her 
beloved husband and daughter. Mrs. Christensen was a past Matron of the Order 
of the Eastern Star in both Desert Hot Springs and Manteca, CA. 

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Harold A. Christensen of Galt; a 
daughter, Eddyann Thompson; granddaughters: Melissa M. Fitzpatrick and Elisa M. 
McCoy; and great-grandchildren: Jared and Brett Fitzpatrick and Matthew and 
Eryn McCoy. 

Eastern Star Memorial Services with Peggy Thran, Worthy Matron of Manteca, 
Pentalpha Chapter Order of the Eastern Star and Woodbridge Oaks Chapter, 
Eastern Star mambers in charge. Services will be held Wednesday, October 26th 
at 2:00 p.m. at the Masonic Temple, 1040 Augusta St., Woodbridge, CA. 

The family requests that in lieu of flowerd, contributions can be made to The 
American Cancer Society, 507 E. Alpine, Stockton, CA 95204.
