Ed lived a full, happy life ensuring that he left his mark on the earth wherever he went. Ed did it his way. He was born in Petrolia, PA. and served in the U.S. Navy as a hospital corpsman during the Korean War. Ed graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1960 with a B.S. in Bacteriology. He worked in medical sales most of his adult life, but an abiding interest in acting led first to community theater and later to movie and television character roles and commercial work as a member of the Screen Actors Guild. Ed is survived by his loving wife, Norah; his "best pal", Julie; sister Fran Logan of Circleville Ohio; his four children, including Lisa Richardson (Vern), Edward James Corbett, III (Sherrie), Kristi Corbett and Duncan Lyons; 5 grandchildren, Nichole, Sarah, Jamie, Robert and Kayleen and one great- grandson, Maddox. Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Service which will be held on Monday, April 17, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at DeYoung Shoreline Chapel, 7676 Shoreline Drive, Stockton, CA 95219. There will be no visitation In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Hospice of San Joaquin, 3888 N.
