Mr. Coyle, a native of Piggott, Ark., worked as a maintenance mechanic for Southern Pacific Railroad, International Harvester and Laura Scudders. He served in the U.S. Army as a surface-to-air missile crewman stationed in California. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and telling stories to his grandchildren, whom he called his “pride and joy.” Mr. Coyle is survived by the mother of his children, Patt Coyle of Tracy; children, Tom Coyle, and his wife, Debbie, of Plymouth, Gina Castro, and her husband, Manuel, of Banta and Kathi Coyle of Tracy; siblings, Tom Coyle, Janie King, Paul Coyle, David Coyle and Norma Williams, all of Illinois, Al Coyle of Scottsdale, Ariz., Rose Coyle and Donna Parks, both of Virginia, and Kathryn Coyle of Piggott; grandchildren, Tanya Coyle of Tracy, Heather and Steven Harding, both of Plymouth, Michael, Bernadette, Caitlyn, Manuel, Martin and Alissa Castro, all of Banta, and Thomas James Coyle of Tracy; great-grandson Gabriel Joseph Coyle-Hollingshead of Tracy; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Thelma Coyle; and two brothers, Wayne and Robert Coyle. Monday’s Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 163 E. Eaton Ave. Interment will be in Hall Cemetery, in St. Francis, Ark. Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave., is handling arrangements. Contributions in Mr. Coyle’s name may be sent to St. Bernard’s Catholic Church Building Fund, 163 W.
