Martha Chandler 
Martha Irene Chandler, 85, of Acampo, died on July 6. She was born in Potts 
Camp, Miss. on Sept. 7, 1919.

Mrs. Chandler married King Chandler on Aug. 15, 1937, in Oceola, Ark. They 
moved to California in 1938, returned to Arkansas in 1939 and came back to Lodi 
in 1942, settling in Acampo in 1951. 

She enjoyed gardening roses, baking, and being with her family and 
grandchildren. She was a member of Galt Bible Church.

She is survived by her children Frank Chandler, of Galt, Wanda Aamoth, of 
Fremont, and Linda Armstrong, of Lathrop; sisters Mary May, of Jacksonville, 
Ak., Edna Chandler, of Lodi, and Elsie Greenwood, of Lodi; and Clara Maughan; 
11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband King Chandler; siblings, Waitus 
Garrett, Lucille May and Clara Maughan; and grandchildren, Devin, Kent and 
Brian Chandler.

A chapel service will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home with 
Pastor Gene Wilburn of Big Valley Church officiating. Committal will 
immediately follow.

Visitation will be held Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Lodi 
Funeral Home. A virtual regsiter book may be signed at www.lodifuneralhome.com. 

Lodi Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
