She was born January 19, 1943. She spent a large portion of her life in Stockton, CA, before residing in Southern CA. She worked as a property manager for Kurnick Properties for 12 years. Linda was a very dedicated daughter, wife, mother, aunt and grandmother, which gave her the most joy in her life. Her greatest satisfaction came from making life special for others, especially her grandchildren who nominate her as "Grandma of the Year". Linda was known for having such compassion and selfless devotion t her family, friends, church and the community. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Howard Owens of Stockton, CA. She is survived by her mother, Inez Owens; her loving husband of over 40 years, Ronny Cleere; her 4 daughters, Kimberly Knox of Ft. Lauderdale, Lori Matley and husband David of Danville, CA, Sherie Cleere of Santa Ana and Roni St. John and husband Todd of Westminster, CA. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren, Taylor and Elizabeth Knox, Emily and Jackson Matley, Stone Conley and Sierra and Samson St. John; her beloved niece, Cindy Starkman and husband Guy and great-nephew Nicholas and her nephew Cory Margolis and wife Monica and family friends, Danny McCartan, Bill Lightfoot and Paul and Amy Vance. Linda considered close friends she has known over the years as part of her extended family and treated them and loved them as such. You know who you are. She was most generous and caring and will be extremely missed! No one could fill her shoes. She absolutely made very birthday and holiday so special for us. Our family would like to express it's sincere gratitude to our friends, neighbors, doctor and nurses for their kind and generous support, comfort and prayers through this most difficult time. Services are Thursday, March 24, 2005 at Cross County Christian Church, (714) 537-4190, located on 9822 Russel St. in Garden Grove at 6:30 p.m. Dinner immediately following service.
