Betty E. Curnow 
March 18, 1925 - March 28, 2005



Betty E. Curnow, of Stockton, California, age 80 years, passed away on Monday, 
March 28, 2005 in a Stockton hospital. She was born on March 18, 1925 in Santa 
Cruz, California and resided in Watsonville. She graduated from Watsonville 
High School and later moved to Stockton in 1958. She was a homemaker, enjoyed 
playing bridge and a very avid golfer. She was a member of the Elkhorn Golf and 
Country Club, was a past president of the Woman's Club and a 5-time club 
champion.
Betty is survived by her husband, Robert C. Curnow of Stockton; son's, Jim 
Cumming of Stockton and Tom Cumming of San Francisco; step-son, Gary Cumming of 
Stockton; sister, Joan Reinking of Santa Rosa and grandchildren, Casey Cumming 
and Duffy Cumming.
A memorial service will be held Friday, April 1, 2005 at 3:30 p.m. in Evergreen 
Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, Lodi, with Father Michael Kelly of St. 
Joachim's Catholic Church officiating. Inurnment will be private. Memorial 
contributions may be given in her memory to American Cancer Society, San 
Joaquin County, 207 E. Alpine Ave, Stockton, CA 95204. Cherokee Funeral Home in 
charge of arrangements.
