Mary Diacon
Mary Francis Diacon, 52, of Lodi, died Oct. 17 in Lodi. She was born Mary 
Francis McQueen on July 4, 1953, in Lodi, where she was raised and attended 
local schools.

Mrs. Diacon was employed by Hunts Cannery in Davis as well as Topper's Party 
Supply. She enjoyed church retreats and especially enjoyed spending time with 
her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Melissa Meredith, of Lodi and Rebecca Finch, 
of Montgomery, Texas; son, Johnny Diacon, of Lodi; brothers, Michael McQueen 
and Brian McQueen, both of Lodi; sisters, Nancy Moffet and Beth Prezler, both 
of Lodi; parents, Gene and Joyce McQueen, of Lodi; and six grandchildren.

A service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at New Hope Freewill Baptist Church 
with Pastor Jimmy McClelland officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. 
to 6 p.m. Saturday, and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Memorial contributions may be made to New Hope Freewill Baptist Church, 345 E. 
Elm St., Lodi, CA 95240.
