Juanita Delgado 
Juanita Delgado, 82, of Lodi, died July 14 in Lodi. She was born Juanita Olvera 
on Oct. 21, 1922, in Donna, Texas.

Mrs. Delgado married Antonio Delgado in 1936 in Texas. She and her husband 
moved to Indio in 1952 and then settled in Lodi in 1965. 

She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, baking, 
cooking, embroidery, crocheting and taking care of her grandchildren.





Juantia Delgado
She is survived by her daughters, Lupie Cox and Mary Delgado, both of Lodi, 
Theresa Garcia, of Indio; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Delgado in 1988; son, Raymond 
Delgado; grandsons, Lawrence and Elvis Delgado; two sisters and one brother.

A chapel service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Lodi Funeral Home. Committal 
will follow. A rosary will be recited at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. 
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. 
Monday.
